Terms
The terms you agree to when you use Ignia. Plain language, no dark patterns.
last updated 2026-07-07 · short, because you shouldn't need a lawyer to read this.
The deal
Ignia is a calorie, protein, and weight tracker with an AI coach. By signing in, you agree to use it as intended — a personal logging tool — and not to abuse it (scraping, reverse-engineering the webhook, attempting to access other users' data, etc).
Not medical advice
The numbers this app shows (TDEE, target, envelope, coach replies) are estimates, not prescriptions. The AI coach is a language model trained on public text — treat it like a knowledgeable friend who could be wrong, not a doctor or dietitian. Talk to a real human professional before making significant dietary changes, especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, under 18, or recovering from an eating disorder.
Your account, your data
You own your data. You can export it as CSV or delete your account at any time from the privacy page. We keep backups for up to 30 days as part of standard Google Cloud Firestore operations; these are not human-accessible and are auto-purged.
Availability + changes
Ignia runs on Google Cloud. We do our best to keep it up, but don't guarantee uptime. We may change features, pricing, or these terms — when we do, the footer's "last updated" date will change and meaningful changes will be announced in-app.
Liability
Ignia is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We're not liable for decisions you make based on its output, for lost data, or for any indirect, incidental, or consequential harm from using the app. To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability to you is capped at whatever you've paid us in the last 12 months (which for most users is zero).
Arbitration & class-action waiver
Please read this carefully — it affects your legal rights. If we have a dispute we can't resolve by email, you and the developer agree to resolve it through binding individual arbitration rather than in court, except that either of us may bring an eligible claim in small-claims court. You and the developer waive the right to a jury trial and the right to bring or participate in a class action or class-wide arbitration — disputes are handled only on an individual basis. Arbitration will be administered under the consumer rules of a recognized provider such as AAA or JAMS. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement within 30 days of first accepting these terms by emailing support@ignia.fit with the subject "Arbitration opt-out." If any part of this section is unenforceable, the rest still applies, except a court (not an arbitrator) decides any claim that cannot be waived.
Governing law + who runs Ignia
Ignia is operated by Bermudez Systems LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and applicable U.S. federal law, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Ignia is offered only in the United States and Puerto Rico and is not directed to users in the EU, UK, or EEA.
Subscriptions + auto-renewal
Ignia has no paid plans today. Every feature is free, there is nothing to purchase, and no payment details are collected. This section describes how subscriptions would work if and when they are ever offered, and takes effect only from that point onward. Pro would be offered monthly or annually via Stripe, with the price shown on the subscribe card before you are charged. Plans would auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle, and could be cancelled at any time from Settings, with cancellation taking effect at the end of the current paid period. A receipt would be emailed for every renewal. Any price change would be announced in-app, and an existing price honoured through the current term.
Refunds
EU / UK / Switzerland: If you're a consumer in the EU, UK, or Switzerland, you have a 14-day statutory right of withdrawal from the date of your first subscription charge. To exercise it, email support@ignia.fit within 14 days with the email address on your account — we'll issue a full refund, no questions asked.
Everywhere else: We don't offer automatic refunds for partial billing periods, but if something feels wrong — a forgotten renewal you didn't intend, a feature that didn't work for you, a platform issue on our end — email us and we'll make it right. The 7-day free trial gives you a no-charge window to confirm Ignia is for you before any money moves.
Chargebacks: please email us before filing a chargeback; we can almost always resolve it faster than Stripe can.
